Well, for this one, I drew it as I was learning more and more about AI, and my kids were learning about outer space, and we were both learning about things that just completely blew our mind that we couldn’t comprehend quite yet.

The color in this image helps tell the story..the pink land, the yellow boy and the blue boy…, and how there’s a father figure, and then two siblings. One sibling tried to be like the father and failed, and the other one’s standing there missing his brother. All in a vast wonder. Or is it just a son in the father’s shadow, staring, trying to figure out what to do next in this chaotic and new and ever changing world.

Created using oil pastels, 8B 5.6mm lead, dry pastels, and an electric eraser—this piece carries layers of texture and emotion.
